Graphic design has adapted to the digital age, but clients are still finding value in the physical printed piece. A good example of this is shown in the beauty of invitations. These are designed works of art/design that are valued and appreciated to a greater extent than there digital counterpart. The personal touch and act of receiving an invite is still special in this digital age.
Wedding invitations are the prime example, this is always a topic of conversation before the main event. The physical act of opening the envelope and discovering the artwork inside is something that cannot be replicated online. We feel the paper, admire the concept and time that has been dedicated to every individually addressed envelope. The invite acts as a physical reminder to the event as is propped up nearby to be appreciated.
