Grafton street is home to some of Dublin’s best and most famous shops. Brown Thomas houses Dublin’s luxury brands. The large black framed windows house visual feasts from season to season. In March, Brown Thomas carried a Parisian theme which was echoed through a classical street scape. These visual creations really bring Grafton street to life with illustrated backdrops and creative adaptation of street lamps, windmills, red brick streets and street signage all offering a creative atmosphere. The classical black colour palette runs through French fashion but with these window displays they have added plenty of Parisian creativity and great use of colour.

In the month of April, Brown Thomas visualizes men’s fashion. Men’s fashion is at the forefront of development in the fashion industry this year and is undergoing a large change and regeneration. Brown Thomas has also launched a men’s fashion supplement which has been designed/published by The Gloss magazine.

These male window displays offer an insight into the world of an Irish gent, with a collection of men’s personal belongings. The display offers a view of gentleman activities and suggests that men need clothing not only for work where they can look authoritative in a tailored suit but for travel and leisure. This display paints the Irish man as knowledgeable, authoritative, artistic and active. This is shown through the collection of objects and variety of clothing from casual to smart. This large display for men’s fashion shows how men’s fashion is becoming just as important as ladies.
